Ruth Mitchell:
Creative Director of Wake Up Shake Up Productions and the original creator back in 2002. Ruth has been a Secondary PE teacher for most of her career. She became an SSCO in 2000 and a PDM in 2003.
Ruth has now taken early retirement from her role as Partnership Development Manager of Callington School Sports Partnership to pursue other interests, amongst them the promotion of daily physical activity (DPA) through Wake Up and Shake Up.
Clare Mitchell:
Creative assistant. Clare is a secondary PE teacher and is currently teaching at a Sports College in Somerset. She has been using the Wake Up Shake Up with Year 9 pupils and they are now leading sessions in a local primary school.
Ellie Mitchell:
Creative assistant. Ellie is a primary school teacher in Cornwall. She passionately believes in the benefits daily physical activity (DPA) has had on her pupils and actively encourages daily Wake Up and Shake Up in her school.
Emma Dodge:
Creative assistant. Emma trains students in Beauty and Massage Therapy part-time and is a mum to twins! She is a keen dancer and loves working with children.
Colin Browning:
Videographer and production manager. Colin has worked with Ruth on the WUSU programme since its inception in 2002. His work has been instrumental in its success.
